Revenue Manager

Purpose: Under the direction of the General Manager take responsibility for the administration and sales procedures relating to the revenue office. Ensuring efficient organisation, good communication, maximum guest satisfaction and maximum revenue are achieved. Key duties & responsibilities Work with the General Manager to deliver effective rate policy. Ensure high quality representation of the hotel in all distribution channels. Monitor competitor pricing, understand dynamics of the local market. Have a strong conference focus in order to develop and drive the M&E market Carry out activites including business planning, market mix strategy, and maintain strong relationships with the Sales team. Monitor & share revenue trends to support sales. Financial awareness and understanding of how the role impacts the hotel P& L Train, coach, counsel and motivate the reservations and M&E team, demonstrating a supervisory style which promotes effective people development. Provide technical support/input to Reservations, M&E sales and Front Office in upselling and negotiating techniques.

Skill Required: 2+ years direct experience of reservations /sales within rooms, conferencing or similar revenue streams. Weekend Spa Therapist Required

Ideally we would require someone who specialises in Holistic therapies and ESPA training would be an advantage.
